A postdoctoral position at University of California-Berkeley is available in an interdisciplinary bioinspired materials research group. The successful candidate must have a PhD in polymer, supramolecular, organic chemistry, or related field. Proficiency in chemical and physical characterization techniques (NMR, IR, MS, GPC, rheology, scattering, etc.) are required. Experience in polymer synthesis and characterization, and bioconjugation chemistry is desired. Experience in in-vitro and/or in-vivo biological characterization of materials is beneficial. Independence, creativity, and excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
