Postdoctoral scholar Dr. Brylee Tiu was one of only 12 researchers from various California universities invited to pitch his research and present a poster on mussel-inspired adhesives at the California Research Alliance (CARA) 2018 Summer Symposium held July 11 at the Chabot Space and Science Center in Oakland, CA. CARA is one of the 4 BASF scientific clusters worldwide that maintains collaborations with academic research groups from various campuses of the University of California system, Stanford and Caltech. The CARA 2018 Summer Symposium was organized to gather BASF scientists and select academic partners, celebrate BASF’s commitment to California universities and harness the collaboration between industry and academia in generating optimism about solving global challenges. Thanks to BASF for continuously supporting CARA and our research projects!
Also, Brylee recently published 2 research articles and a methods book chapter from his PhD research at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH.
